So... On a street glide if I get this https://www.harley-davidson.com/us/e...Kit/p/69200865that works for me, but has anyone been able to add wired communications for their passenger? I know I could just get a limited, but I REALLY like my paint set and just want to make it "like" a limited! Like I mentioned earlier this was an option for pre Rushmore bikes.
I don't know but I bet these wiring harnesses are very much alike, so its probably a matter of getting the right adapters. Other question, is where to put the pillion jack?
Has anyone tried buying Sena or Cardo and the HD WHIM paired them together? I know the H-D bluetooth sets are produced by Sena!
I have NOT, but I believe it can be done with the SENA (non-Harley) headsets. The difference used to be that you had to use the H-D branded headsets (made by SENA) in order to have true stereo music when paired with the WHIM module and playing through the Boom! audio system.
Yea if true stereo in your headset, then you need HD headsets. Its not to me, my hearing isn't that great, and I am not a sterophile, so I have the Sena 20S evo headsets, and the HD whim. They di everything the HD sets do, except stereo. I listen to my music over the bikes speakers, and they ARE stereo, so no need for me.
I consider my time with my wife riding on the back as a "A tank of peace and quiet". I have two brand new sets of HD brand half-helmet wired headsets that came with my Ultra Limited when i bought it new back in 2016. BUT, I've never used them or even tried them. I don't even know if they work or not.....for that matter, I've never tried the CB either!. I have my phone paired to the cycle but I'm not interested in talking on the phone when riding. It's nice to "see" an incoming call and the name displayed on my nav screen but my attitude is "I'll call them back".
Seriously, She loves to ride and on those very few occasions when she wants to talk to me, she just leans forward and talks into my ear. Since we both wear half helmets it's fairly easy to hear her at speeds under 60mph.
