The seat is beautiful . I'm anxious for the ride report .
I believe that's the seat I'm ordering . It looks more
roomy for the driver & just about as much passenger
room . Did you order leather or vinyl ?
Nice looking seat. I also suggest trying the "naked" seat first as LePera can make minor adjustments, if necessary. Try it on a few long rides both solo and with your better half.
I have the Monterey solo with backrest, and I had LePera slim the seat neck a bit for comfort when stopped. I have the leather cover and seems a smidge softer than vinyl. I've had the seat now for about 6 years and it's my go-to seat on the long hauls (NC - FL a few times a year). LePera seats are firmer than most seats but still comfy.
They have a nice selection of seat materials and stitching, and you can do contrast stitching if you like. I'm sure they can send some swatches if you ask.

I got the leather seating surfaces. So far I've only rode it to work, 9 miles this morning. Initial report, moved me back enough to not be squished against the tank, without sacrificing passenger room, she had plenty of room with me leaned back as far as backrest would go.
it sits well, not squishy, supportive without being hard.
I'll let you know @leadman after I put a few miles on it. Hollar if you have any questions

I noticed looking at LePera website that the stitching on yours is
the standard stitching on that seat . I really like it . I was going with
a diamond pattern . but now I think I'll stay with the factory pattern
& just recover the tour pack backrest . On a side note I've almost
got mama talked into paying for half of the cost . That gives me
more money to put toward changing bars again .
Looks great. I am deep in the process with Lepera on a leather seat. I ordered the Daytona Sport via their base & foam program (no covering) and it was just a little too narrow and forward. So I sent it back and am expecting the similar looking Outcast this week or next. It's 2.5" wider than the Daytona and I'm going with the Daddy Long Legs version to get some additional leg room. If it fits, we'll move forward with the custom brown leather. Really looking forward to seeing my long term version of Red Hot Sunglow with brown leather!
