Default Tour Packs

Good Evening All,

Has anyone figured out how to put on a older tour pack on a 201 touring bike. My touring pack is the King model ranging from 97-2003

If you get an appropriate rack for your year it shouldn't be difficult to drill new holes to mount it.

I have the older leather wrapped tour pac.

I bolted it to the quick release plate mount fits my 2016 style quick release.

Look at the profile picture.

Default Tour Pak

I have a 2014 Street Glide. I bought a used Tour Pak with backrest that had the speakers and CB antennas and took it to an econo paint (like Maaco), I removed the CB antennas and speakers and had them fill the holes with fiberglass and repaint it vivid black like my bike. It turned out spectacular. $160 bucks for the paint shop. My Harley dealer charged me $25 bucks (cheapest thing I ever bought there) for a lock for the Tour Pak with two spare keys that matched my bike (number on the key) and I bought a nice Tour Pak Mounting Rack on Amazon for $50 that bolted right up to my new tour pak. It looks great and is nice to have for trips. I take it off when it is not needed in a minute. All for a little over $500.
