Default Larger wheels

Hello everyone,
I am looking for experience with installing a larger front wheel on my Ultraglide. I have been offered a set of enforcer wheels 19 front and 16 rear. Currently the bike is 17 front and 16 rear.
will they fit and what will it do to the handing.

as long as you use the stock sized rubber, direct fit. no changes necessary. the overall diameter of the 16'', 17'', 18'', and 19'' wheel/tire combo is virtually identical.

you may or may not notice any difference in handling. some do, some don't. but you will notice a slightly 'rougher' ride as the shorter sidewall on the larger diameter tires does not absorb road irregularities as much as the taller sidewalls do. i don't find it to be a problem.

That pretty much covered the bases. From my experience with the different wheel tire aspect ratio the ride quality goes down with the stiffer side walls on the larger rims. It's not a huge issue but I can feel it on sharp edged expansion joints in the bars when I go from my SG to my RK.

On my '17 Street Glide Special, I went from a 17" to a 19" and did not notice a difference in handling at all. Actually the ride comfort was pretty much the same. The only time you are going to notice a drastic difference is if you jumped to like a 26" wheel. 19" is the largest you can go without having to change fork, fender, and other components.

Actually not true. Many on here have a 21" front wheel, including myself, without changing anything. Most common mod is to enlarge the fender mounting holes to provide enough clearance on the rear portion of the fender when the tire expands a bit when riding.
