I’ve been reading a few posts about some of the shops not treating customers so well. To the point that a lot of folks call them the stealer instead of dealer. So I thought well where does one go then. Well I know of a shop that’s outstanding and I imagine there are a lot more out there. So chime in for the good ones.
Cowboy Harley of Austin Texas I was riding through on my way back from California. So me and wife stopped in bought the token T-shirts and a hat or two and some new highway pegs for my 06 Ultra. I asked the General Manager if he had a water hose I could borrow to get some of the bugs off my bike and I asked if I might barrow an allen wrench to put the highway pegs on. He asked for my key took my bike around back and returned about 20 min later. The bike was washed and the highway pegs were on. The wrench that put them on came around and I sat on the bike so the pegs could be adjusted. No charge for the wash or the peg install now don’t get me wrong they didn’t detail the bike but they sure cleaned the bugs off and it was sure appreciated. So if you’re ever in the area one of the good guys. Cowboy Harley of Austin.
I am going to give a shameless plug to "Dillon Brothers HD" in Omaha, NE. I have bought 3 harleys from them b/c of their outstanding service. Anyone can sell me a bike, but it is after the fact that counts.
My first bike I bought from them was my 05 RK Custom. It had a tiny leak coming from the primaryafter about 2 months of owning it. Even though it was not under warranty anymore they took the hit and fixed it. 2 bikes later I would never go anywhere else. Good people and hot girls working the clothing.
