Those are all great reference points. After checking those out, my numbers and graphs are pretty good. I just don't like the dip on my Dyno sheet; especially since I can feel it.

Find you a used fat cat on ebay from someone who didn't like the look. You might even get lucky and find one with the ghost pipe...
I saw on another thread a guys bike came with the fat cat on it from a previous owner and he swapped it out because he didn't care for the look. You can probsbly find a nice one here on the forum but I agree it doesn't look as nice as the head pipes you have...
Looks like a lot of good information on this thread and I really don't have much to add to it other than addressing the expense of the D&D system. I would agree that they get a premium for their product but that being said I know of a few people, one a close friend that had that ghost pipe break at the weld towards the front where the fake muffler meets the smaller cross over tube. D&D offered a replacement at a reduced cost but wouldn't flat out warranty it. The indy that I use installs a lot of Fat Cats on the builds that they do and they have seen it happen as well. I haven't heard of any quality issues with the main pipe. Just with the ghost pipe. It seems that the fact that it is not attached to the main header puts a lot of stress on that area.
Have to agree on the inserts they may be the answer. I have yet to see a M8 dyno comparison before and after to really know....but for 100.00 bucks kinda worth the gamble
I am going to call my Dyno guy today and have a heart to heart with him. I am going to him his opinion or either just getting a good set of baffles vs. getting a set of Jackpot High Roller slip-ons(recommended by FuelMoto when I spoke with them) vs. getting a new D&D exhaust. I will keep you posted as to what he says.
You guys have been extremely helpful with all of your responses. Please keep them coming if you have more thoughts or suggestions.
