Any restriction issues for the breather when plumbing a remote catch can? Thinking of using same size breather tubing on the 107 Rushmore (looks like 4mm ID) out to a catch can mounted to the front frame down tube/wishbone with a larger tube out under the bike for the fumes.
save the aggravation run the tube down the frame and vent to atmosphere. Problem solved .Did it with all my bikes works great .I run it down to just aft of trans hangs about 1" below frame

All good stuff, but don't need to know how to do it, currently it just dumps at under bike. Just curious if there is a high volume of air coming out that could be impeded by a can in the middle of the run. Currently is just puffs a bit at idle and rev when not under load. Cant put my finger on the tube end at speed as it is under the bike to see how hard she blows.
I used to use catch cans but they became a pita after a while. Now I run the hose to the bottom of the frame and attach one of the 90* filters below facing down and to the side. Works like a charm and I just swap them out at the end if the season....cheap enough!
here's a pic of the last one I changed after 4000 miles. Most of the time it had clear liquid in it but I changed the oil and slightly over filled it. After 300 miles this was in it.....I changed it out and took some oil out. Now it's back to normal.

This is the installation on my TriGlide. I think I bought he catch can from JP. Id empty about a tablespoon of glop from it every couple 1,000 miles. The only downside was I could smell combustion odor when stopped and the motor was running.
I also have a filter at the bottom of the hose. Want to keep those small bugs that mud up things from getting in the drain tube. Whenever I look at the filter after a ride its only dripping water, or nothing. No oil residue. Same as golfblues. Hence, no catch can, just a filter for the buggers. Fill oil 1/2 way.
