Was watching the GlidePro alignment video the other night and (I think) the dude made some adjusters to put under the frame to get things just level. Does anyone have any pointers on how to get some made or what to use in place? Friend of mine has his engine out having the crank sorted, we want to check the alignment is all in order when it goes back in.
Thanks!
***EDIT*** manged to find the bit in the video where he shows the saddles he made, dropped him an email to ask what size bolts he used - will try and find someone to machine a pair for me in the UK. His scissor jack looked really substantial too....any guesses on the brand?
Junkyards are a good place to look for scissor jacks. If not then an auto parts store might have one. Just get the biggest capacity you can find. But I don't see them on the shelf very often.
Back years ago, buying a frame jack for a table lift was expensive, so I went to the junkyard and got a scissor jack from a truck and welded a bracket on it and a flat plate to allow the plate to pivot and use that to jack up the front or the back of the bike when I'm working on a wheel. Now you can get them for 150.00 most places.
