Unhappy Oil Temp Sensor

Hey guys, I just installed these Dakota Digital gages on my 2013 FLHTK. They look great and their options are functional as well. The options are all controlled by an app on your phone. BTW, I purchased them from The Fairing X Change. They offer upon purchase, to install them at your residence for $0. A great service.

Anyway, the install tech went to connect the Oil Temp sensor which replaces the oil drain plug but the air pump for my shocks are adjacent to the plug with a bracket that interferes with installing the 2 inch long sensor.

Does anyone here know of another plug that exist which I can use?

My 2011 has a plug about 2” above the drain. It is where I put my sensor
