I remember not buying a road king in 2014 because it had a clutch cable, I prefer hydraulic.
Me thinks Harley is saving money again on a $30k bike. I do agree that the usability/feel on a cable clutch is not bad and feels pretty smooth, but when I spend big bucks on a bike, I prefer Hydraulic.
The cable looks like **** coming through the fairing, IMO.

a fairing on a bike looks bad enough, I don't think a clutch cable coming through it could hurt it any.
Could you tell I dont like fairings?
actually, I prefer a cable on my clutch and throttle. Tbw and hydraulic just doesn't feel right, feels like it's disconnected from the motor

CVO has had then Hydraulic clutch since 2005 or even earlier. Cable clutch now, very sad.
Whether it’s a motorcycle or automotive, a hydraulic clutch has a narrower friction zone. I definitely prefer a cable clutch. Both require maintenance so that’s not an issue but, I can adjust where my friction zone engages with a cable clutch, something that can’t be done with hydraulic.
