Because they could do it anonymously and have bragging rights for being an insider and the first person to announce it publicly. People like this exist in every industry.
Sure, they could. Many of the acquittances I know that work in a variety of different fields have signed a non-disclosure agreement (NDA). They wouldn't risk the potential of losing their job discussing something that wasn't officially announced. In all the years you've been a member of this forum, can you remember one item that was announced on this forum before there was an official announcement somewhere else? I can't. Maybe we'll get lucky and someone will tell us the new features that will be available on the 2022 HD models in the next few days.

Don't know anything about the new line-up. I probably saw the same video/information you did. HD CEO said that HD is thinking even bigger in 2021. They are going to launch an icon new collection marrying the best of HD innovation, evolution and emotion! These models will redefine desirability and exclusivity. He is excited to share more, but that story isn't for today.
Maybe the new line-up will be hand-built, like the CVO line-up was done previously? Why would someone on this forum have an inside scope and even if they did, share the information here?
I speak just enough Marketing BS to know that means More Expensive.
Many gun manufacturers have a "Custom Shop" of some sort that makes exclusive, limited edition, versions of the common models. They are about 3 times the price of the regular gun.
I wouldn't be surprised to see the same thing based on the words of shoeman.

Again, people 'risk' it all the time across many industries because they are anonymous. No one really knows who anyone is on this forum. Of course it has happened on this forum. Are you kidding me? People posted pics of bikes here before they were officially announced by Harley just last week. What is your deal @LQQK_OUT ? You seem to like disagreeing me with, no matter how ridiculous your argument, every time I create a thread or post a reply. I think I have a stalker!
