Was anyone able to garner more information either from the 2021 model year presentation by H-D or other resources regarding the 'Enthusiast' lineup? It seemed to me that the new 'Enthusiast' line is going to be a more customizable build to order type of bike. Is that your understanding? If this is true, this may be last year of the CVO line. Why would H-D start a line of bikes that would compete directly with the already existing CVO models? CVO models are already extremely expensive. However, if you are already in the market for a CVO and could spend only a few more thousand to finely customize that CVO exactly the way you wanted, why wouldn't you?
Maybe I am not understanding the 'Enthusiast' lineup. I know H-D was extremely vague about it in the MY 2021 presentation but I am wondering if anyone else has heard more information from other corners of the market.
Not sure where you got build to order notion (maybe from the "2021 is the year of the monoshock touring frame" people?). Doesn't scale, especially in an era when they are selling 1/2 the bikes (or fewer) than their peak.

Don't know anything about the new line-up. I probably saw the same video/information you did. HD CEO said that HD is thinking even bigger in 2021. They are going to launch an icon new collection marrying the best of HD innovation, evolution and emotion! These models will redefine desirability and exclusivity. He is excited to share more, but that story isn't for today.
Maybe the new line-up will be hand-built, like the CVO line-up was done previously? Why would someone on this forum have an inside scope and even if they did, share the information here?
There's a lot of flexibility with the words "Enthusiast" and Harley Davidson. What kind of Harley "Enthusiast"? Stripped down to deliver the best price point for someone to customize to their liking? Would be a great base for either a performance or custom build. Why waste money on parts you're just going to 86? Or are they going to throw the P&A Catalog at it and hang every chrome do-dad off the poor bike? Isn't that option already available? We'll just have to wait and see.
Why would someone on this forum have an inside scope and even if they did, share the information here?
Because they could do it anonymously and have bragging rights for being an insider and the first person to announce it publicly. People like this exist in every industry.
