28oz for tranny..... Half way between full and add on dipstick for primary. You don't want to fill to full mark. Wise to get a service manual....has all info you need for your RG.

2 questions, 1) what year and, 2) did you get an owners manual? My 2013, 103" TC takes 28 ozs. in the transmission, 38 ozs. in the primary with fluid change only (wet) and the engine will take three qts. but on the TC the level is half way between full and add.

This is why you should not listen to the net but get your owners manual for your bike.. Half way is a cold check for starting the bike. The oil level is checked HOT .

If you go to Harley's website and register your bike you can view a digital version of your owners manual.

If you decide to put 4 qts in the engine, buy one of these before hand. You'll need it to take out a least a half quart. When you over fill the engine, if no ones done the bypass, oil will start start dripping from the air cleaner and make a mess. Like above don't fill it over half way up the dip stick.
