Kinda difficult to isolate a suggestion without year, exact model, some information like miles or description of any changes from factory stock.
Taking a wild guess:
Something is loose.
Perhaps within primary area.
Im usually pretty good about adding that info...
its a 2016 FLHXS
Be sure to get back and up date us.. That big clutch hub bearing is only used when clutch is pulled in. With clutch out pulling, that is all locked up.
Wet clutchs alway drag slightly if nothing but windage from oil fluid between them. Stopped in gear and clutch in, it should not pull bike fwd on level smooth asphalt. However, it's perfectly normal if you pull in clutch in gear and start bike and it lugs fwd a tad. ( Something not recommend but I do it occasionally if like in the mountains on hills.). In this case, it fine.
I don't think it's fluids. I did not get the fact it's now perment noise. I thought you just heard it at the bumps.
Be sure to add a Signature Line in your USER set up for you and your bike model, year, and all the letters that Harley recognizes it with if you have not already done this.
I am hoping Harley can get to it in a decent amount of time, my bike is all I own so Ill be sleeping in my office until it gets fixed 😂 Ill add my signature, I usually always post my year and model but spaced it for whatever reason today. Its a 16 FLHXS

I still don't see a signature line. PS. When you pull in clutch, that is when the huge clutch hub bearing turns.
If the noise stops when the clutch is pulled in i would start thinking the inner primary bearing. The main shaft would be stopped then. Still could be something inside the trans though

Suppose it's something that simple, then I would be in heaven. I know it's still a few hundred in labor, but at least the part cost is negligible.
I just hopped on my laptop and edited mine as well. The bike is sitting at Harley now so all I can do is hurry up and wait for them to call me. Hopefully no later than next week and let me know what's going on. With any luck it'll be something simple like the inner bearing, or it'll give me an excuse to replace my clutch with a Rekluse.
