I have both Gerbing gloves and socks, and HD one touch jacket and pant liners. HDs come this a wireless remote and it's great. My hands do get too hot so dont power them much. I still have heated grips.
As for power, I have the bike connection forward of the seat. If I forget, it pulls straight off. It can be tucked away easily so no worries about the small.stuff.
I use battery operated Gerbing heated gloves while skiing. On low mode it’s plenty warm for me and it lasts more than 6 hours. My fingers are very sensitive and can’t handle cold. These gloves have been a blessing. Solid product, this is my second year and they are still doing good. I got them for less than $120 on sale last year. I definitely recommend them.
on the other hand I also have wired gerbing heated gloves, jacket and pants I use while riding. I love it, it’s always in my saddle bag if I need it. Awesome product.
I was just thinking of selling it and getting me new gerbing heated jacket and pant liner they have. New one comes with outer shell that is like a riding jacket and pants instead of just liners that I have.
I have a battery heated vest I use for walking around the neighborhood. Works great for that, but for riding, I like to have my arms warm also. I also like to wear short cuff gloves, as I wear the cuff under my jacket sleeve. So for cold weather riding I have the wired stuff.
