Default The bobber bagger?

Just thought I would show some pics of my bike, and where I am going with it, got the E Glide (88) about a tear ago bought it from a "dealer" in PA bike had just enough rattyness to speak to me so had the guy send me video of the bike cranking up, and we haggled over the price for couple of days and we came to terms the bike had only 18,000 miles on it so I figured this thing just needs to be ridden, so had the bike delivered and went over it (Boy was I wrong this thing needed some "tightening" up, a lot of loose bolts) it was obvious that bike also needed some work, Im not a huge fan of "baggers" but I do like bags if they are leather, anyway some pics of things ive done, how she looked when I bought her.

PO had put a 21" spoked front hoop with single caliper I upgraded the caliper to a Willwood however; the 11/16 MC did not work with it so had to install a 5/8 MC so i could have some lever modulation, also installed a Willwood rotor.

Like I said not a big fan of baggers so I removed the hard bags and mounted a leather bag I got off of ebay.

Chopped the rear fender and installed one of those brake light/license plate.

Put on some shorty pipes (dont be hate'n) and made a brake lever out of a socket I found on the road.

Also added a puke bottle for the crank case vent.

Also put on an Accell petcock.

Made a decorative piece for the rear fender.

Made some fangs to help with buffeting however; have yet to try them also may change the design was looking at some of the MFG fangs and they seem to have a little kick out on the outside edge.

This is where I am currently at, getting ready to order up one of those lithium batteries and locate it under the seat and at some point going to get the seat covered.

Well here is the finished (For now) version, still somethings I want to do but now just want to ride her, took her out today for a shake down, the puke bottle spewed oil everywhere, think the motor had built up a lot of moister over the winter, anyway ditching that idea for now just going to rout it under the bike for now, the DIY "fangs" totally eliminated the buffeting I was getting.

Yeah I kinda agree about the fairing, but im kind of enjoying it, and there is a **** load of wires under there that will have to be done away with, maybe this winter im getting lazy in my old age i don't even like pushing the "shift" button while typing.
