Guys/Gals, Just figured I’d share my issue with my 2021 FLHTK. I took the outer fairing off to route a usb wire and noticed the bolts to the speakers pods were backed almost all the way out! One was completely out but I found it wedged between wire loom and radio. I then double checked all bolts/fittings inside fairing and had a couple that weren’t snug let alone torqued. I immediately called the dealer I bought it from and advised them. Then apologized and advised me to email Harley-Davidson direct to advise them as well. I ended up checking over pretty much every nut and bolt after that. I’m not pissed, just disappointed. Hopefully my bike was the only one but anyone with a 2021 FLHTK or any touring model double check your screws/nuts/bolts and let me know please! Thanks.
I haven't taken the fairing off but did have the dealer replace an Allen head bolt with a stripped head on the saddlebag latch ... now I noticed the Allen bolt on the front of the gas tank is stripped as well.... Quality Control ? The assembly line tech surely knew it was fugly before it was shipped
