Default Brake pads

Whilst the RK is hiding from the weather and in bits awaiting the new compensator. Saw that the brake pads were low. Any advice as to replacement. 2012 RK 103. The Harley ones for a triple set are horrendously expensive, Saying that i dont want some ineffective crap. Just wondered on options. I do intend to firm up the front forks as they are pretty soft so this might suit a more aggressive pad. Cheers

EBC Brake Pads. Put them on my 2019 Tri Glide and they work just fine.

There are other options out there like Lyndall brake pads, while they have good reviews they are just as expensive as OEM pads

The bike shop I worked at always used EBC, unless the customer specified otherwise. Worked as well as stock, for maybe half the price. Plus, an established company, with well known products is ALWAYS better than chinese knock-offs at 20 bucks for the whole bike. You really DO get what you pay for.

I've used the D2Moto pads several times, no issues.

Can’t go wrong with EBC or Lyndall for pad upgrade/change.

I went with OEM the first time replacing pads. Last fall I went with EBC. Performance is the same as far as I can tell, but they are much louder (like a swarm of cicadas). The noise improved after doing the bedding in procedure recommended by EBC, but still loud. I don’t remember noticing brake pad noise until I put these on.
