tread depth questions
i have 11000 miles on my third set of Dunlop [OEM] tires on 2017 CVO limited . i have 9 mm tread depth on rear tire and 7mm on front tire. That seams to good to be true i recall worst case tires must be replaced at 2 or 3 mm . How many miles do i have left on these tires?

According to Dunlop's website, tread depth on your OE tires when new:
Front...5/32"
Rear...10/32"
Re the above post, remember that replacement is recommended when tread depth is 1/32 (tread wear indicators) so that means for a front tire you only have 4/32 of wear available and for the rear, only 9/32. If you do your math based on tread depth new without subtracting the 1/32, you will be calculating miles to a bald tire. Slicks may be fine on dry pavement, but if you ever get caught in the rain or ever run through a wet spot, LOOK OUT!
