Default tour pack adjustment ??

Hi , recently purchased a 2020 ultra limited. LOVE the bike. But the wife and I are not as " thin " as we used to be. Just wondering if anyone has ever adjusted the stock tour pack.
I see in the owners manual you can loosen the nuts and maybe get an inch or so of more space. Has anyone ever did this? Is it as easy as it looks in the owners manual?
was also considering maybe getting a relocator kit , any suggestions on which one might be the best / easy to install ? thanks !

Why not try the 1" and see how it goes, then look for a tour pak relocator. I've seen them on ebay, and for the price, I'd go pick up a couple pieces of flat bar, and drill my own holes. Oh, and maybe chrome them

One inch can be a lot to some on the tour pack. If it is not already all the way back give it a try. just loosen them and slide it back.

YES...it's a very easy adjustment. Loosen up the 4 bolts (loosen them up good but no need to remove them) ....then wiggle the tour pack back as far as it will go and tighten them up snug, but don't over tighten.

One more inch does make a difference.....so says my wife....lol

Most are already all the way back, most relocators are just 2 plates, with holes to adjust, as stated above,

Yes you can...easy. Look under the pack at the bolts and slots. You can see where it is at. Most from factory are in the middle. Open tour pack and lift bottom material to access nut. Just loosen and slide back. Yup it makes a noticeable difference.

It's surprising the difference 1 inch can make even on seats and handle bars is surprising.

No need to go into the tour pack.....just loosen all 4 from underneath the pack. You'll see the slots and just pull the entire pack backwards...wiggle it to make it slide back easy.

I know a lot of people make their own but my wife and I had the same issue and here is what i ended up using. The results were exactly what we needed. Hope it helps.
