Default Suspension Upgrade

After the completion of S&S big bore kit and flywheel installation, I recently replaced the rear shocks with the Legend Revo-A shocks. Man, I wish that I found out about these a long time ago. These are the best coil spring shock that I have ever used. The progressive 944s that I had on the bike were less than satisfactory for me. Let’s just say I didn’t like the ride that they provided. Anyway, the Revo-A in my subjective opinion provides a better riding experience for me. I like them so much, I had the Legend AXEO front suspension installed. My 2009 FLHTCU has a very comfortable ride now but it can handle the twisties with much more control.

I've got legends front and rear and am very happy with the ride.

I concur, I have the legends on both ends (same set up as yours) and they are a huge difference.

Can these shocks be installed without a lift?

Yes the rears can easily be installed. The fronts require removing the forks. if you go through parts giant (on here) they give a nice little discount too.

I went with Ohlins HD 044 rear and FKS 226 front. Did the install myself. Dialing them in is the part that is getting me. The rear seams easy enough, easy to access and change settings. I have KST Renegade bars installed that need to be removed to adjust the settings on the front. I like the ride much better than stock, but think I would enjoy more once I can get them dialed in correctly.
