Default Stator plug

Been having an issue lately with keeping the battery charged. Been hit an miss. Some days it would be fine. Thought it was my amp so I disconnected it, nope. So i ran through the test to check the charging system. Wasnt getting a charge. So I unplugged the stator from the regulator and noticed the wire. Not sure if the metal prongs inside will pop out and then just reconnect the wire. If not I want to find a new one I can rewire. Anyone know where I can find one? Or do the progs pop out to connect the wire again? I havent tried yet

Im pretty sure I done it myself when I changed the motor mount. Thought I pinched it under the bolt so I pulled the wire out but didnt think nothing of it. Now I know. Im an idiot. Never ending story on this damn bike. Get one thing done and its another.

The wires are crimped to the connector. You will need to get a new connector, remove the old and install the new one.
Your Electrical diagnostic service manual should tell you how to do this.
Your dealers parts dept. should have the connector in stock.

I may have misled you. You do not need the plastic connector just the metal pin inside the connector that is crimped to the wire.

If you are not familiar with on how to remove the wire and pin from the connector and can crimp a new pin to the wire I would suggest you find someone that is familiar with wiring repair or take it to a dealer and have them fix it.

Went out this morning and popped that pin out of the plug. The wire is crimped and soldered in. Now I need to find one or find someone that removed an old one and I can cut the whole plug off. Couldnt find one online
