I have 33” Samson true dual Fishtails (w.o baffles) & a Ness monster sucker 90° on my 2011 Street Glide (103ci) and just got the fp3 tuner. Unfortunately they do not have Samson listed under the exhaust. I found another thread similar and they went with python true duals but it didn’t seem to change anything after I uploaded that MAP. I have already contacted V&H customer service and waiting for a response, just seeing what other tunes people went with. Any help would be great.
You can choose a “generic” set up, then pick the type of exhaust you have ex: 2 Into 1, 2 into 2, etc. but the options for baffles are “standard” “quiet”, and in some cases “competition”. I’m not seeing a baffleless option.
See what V&H says, but the next option would be find the most free flowing exhaust possible, then auto-tune in your specific rig.
You may end up having to adjust the A/F tables manually. That could be a PIA. In any case, there will probably be some long auto-tunes along the way.
I would just wait for V&H to respond or you could call them. I had to have them tweek a map for my aftermarket cam and they had me back on the road within 15 mins.
