Default exhaust pipes

I have an '05 EG Carbuerated with V&H True duals. I just returned after 4300mi out west and have decided to tone it down a little. Forget the ear plugs! I recently had it Dyno'd and need feedback on putting my stock exhaust back on the true duals and re-jetting it. HP and torque loss!!!!! Serious feedback appreciated!!!!

i would not put the stock ehaust back on,
before i'd try LARGER Baffles in the existing V&H mufflers.

I have a Samson exhaust, and i can install different size baffles.
the Bigger or LONGER the baffle = more quiet.

If you like it on the more quiet side,

Put the Stock Ehaust back on, and install a Aftermarket Slip On Muffler.
they are a little louder than stock,
but much less quieter than a V&H aftermarket exhaust system.

AFTER you do this,
you do need to retune your Carb.

super bike mike

What slip ons are you using with the true duals? If they are V&H also, some can have quiet baffles installed.

My V&H true dual mufflers unfortunately doesn't allow for a baffle change !

Do you want more power and somewhat quiet?

Go with Super Trapps 2 into 1 system. Some people don't like the looks, but you will make more power and lose weight on bike. There are 2 ways to make bike perform better.
1. Less weight.
2. More horsepower.

With the Super Trapps you lose weight and gain power.

Why not keep the duals and throw a pair of the SE slipons on?

You may not even have to re-jet
