Default Restore ABS to one front rotor?

I have probably reviewed at least 50 ABS threads but I don't see an answer to my question. I have an 09 RK. For about 5 years I have run it with a 21" front wheel with only a left rotor/caliper and a direct brake line from the master cylinder. Thunder-Max makes a module that restores ABS functions to any 2014-newer touring bike that has a larger front wheel and only one rotor. Is anyone aware of a way to restore ABS to a pre-14 model and still keep single rotor setup? If I simply re-install the brake lines to and from the module for the front brake, shouldn't it perform normally for daily use and only kick in for hard/emergency type braking? Thanks.

I don't know the answer, but I do know Arlen Ness and MC Baggers sell ABS bearings for 21" and larger wheels.

I may have found an answer. MC Baggers has a replacement ABS bearing for the front wheel which adjusts the information that is sent to the computer regarding speed and wheel size. This bearing was referred to at the very end of a YouTube video at
.

The product link is: http://mcbaggers.com/product/ar14-21/

If this works, I should be able to simply reinstall the original brake lines (or stainless - preferred) and then change out the ABS bearing up front. I'm going to do some more research first. If anyone has experience with this bearing, please share. Thanks.

GalvTexGuy - I didn't see your response before I submitted this last post. Seems like we're both working with the same idea.

Well you obviously need the brake lines to the ABS unit. Besides that, if you have the ABS bearing AND the SENSOR there on the left, you should be good.

One problem you might have is that the ABS module has been inoperative for 5 years, and may not work anymore.

I had it connected to the rear brakes for those years but not the front.

Gearhead Mike - Thanks for reminding me about the sensor. Luckily, I kept the OEM sensor/spacer in a box in the garage when I removed it and installed the new wheel. I have two stainless braided brake lines inbound to replace the original ABS lines so everything should be good. I received the new 14" rotor, Arlen Ness 6-piston caliper and new ABS bearing yesterday. Just waiting on the two lines. Of course when one thing is about to be fixed, something else goes wrong. I noticed yesterday that my motor mount (I believe) has started squeaking real bad. It's hard to tell exactly what's squeaking under the bike when you're sitting on top but I had to replace it years ago and it seems to have the same sound as then. When my car's fan belt squeaks like this, I just shoot it with some WD40 or belt silencer but I'm not sure if that would work on this mount. I need to get under it and see if there is any sign of wear or if I can just tighten something up.
