Default Icon Collection!

Have you noticed the first of the new "Icon Collection" yet? First one is the Revival Electra Glide. Maybe HD has realized that they have left the "senior" riders out of their market? I wonder how much extra they are going to charge for retro models... if it's anything like Corvettes I might be able to afford a HD Sprint Revival. The Electra Glide looks great!!! this might restore my faith in HD.I hope they don't take too long getting a Dyna out...

Many positive responses in the other ongoing threads, too.

I still think a revival of the springer would be a huge success. I know its been said that an abs system is an issue with it but is there some dot mandate that all new motorcycles have to have abs? If not we've riden bikes for decades without abs, its a nice safety feature but it wouldn't prevent me from buying a bike if it didn't have it. When they announced the return of the softail standard i was expecting to see a bobtail fender...not the same fender on the other ones. Thats just my lousy opinion lol.

Define senior. I think it's ugly and wouldn't have one. But, what do I know - I'm only 65 and ride an M8 Street Glide.

Saw the bike in person a couple of days ago, it's much better looking in person (IMO). They did have an ADM on it, but they had an ADM on every bike in the showroom and the Revival is competitively priced versus a Street Glide Special with RDRS and 2 tone paint.

I agree. Not my style at all. I think it looks like someone bought add on parts and hasn't been able to get them painted to match yet. To each their own.

The Icon Collections are M8s.

I just looked at it, nice bike if you like nostalgia and I think will hold it's value somewhat. Not for me, but it will sell.
