Default 2008 Street Glide - 2-Up - Cornering Question

With this bike being lowered by an inch, do you have problems with the floorboards hitting the pavement during turns when riding 2-Up? I weigh 160 and my wife about the same.

Thanks,

Frank

I cant speak specifically about the 08s but as a 07 SG owner I can say no problem. Its @ 1 inch shorter yet stiffer. You will feel the bumps more w/this model, added weight helps this. Two up cornering no problems.

As long as you remember you are not on a crotch and ride accordingly you should be more than fine.

Yikes. I was afraid someone was going to tell me something dragged. Are your pipes bigger than usual?

Thanks,

Frank

If you ain't scrapin' metal, you ain't ridin'!

Seriously though, I used to scrape my Fat Boy floor boards regularly on certain turns... I was just doing this on purpose though as I carved up these turns. Like Primo said, if you remember you're not on a sportbike and don't go crazy then there should be no scraping.

unless you got some BIG ole end onthem or something, I am pretty sure it is impossible to drag pipes without first draggin the boards AND the bags
