Default ABS Help !

2014 street glide special . Dtc C1040 can anyone help diagnose. Clear code comes back without starting bike . Pump/motor are actuating. Solid abs light doesn’t go away or flash like it used to . Thanks

Have you removed wheels recently? Since the code comes on right away maybe a wire broken or plug bad for one of the wheel sensors.

All sensors read if unplugged and plugged back in . Throws codes when unplugged and are good when plugged in . I hear the abs motor cycle but code C1040 pops .

That code indicates a problem other than a wheel sensor. For some reason the pump is prompting the code. Could even be as simple as a weak battery. If not the system needs more thorough testing to diagnose.
