Hi,
I have a 2009 FLHTCU Ultra Classic.
The top front Engine Stabilizer started to squeak or chirp. Well, I put a drop of oil on both spherical bearings and the squeak stopped.
However, the darn thing started rattling or making a clicking noise.
Has anyone here had this issue?
Anyway I found a Chrome engine Stabilizer on line to replace it.
Any way, I just finished replacing it and it does not make any more noise.

 

Yup , had to replace mine last fall , if you can twist it with two fingers , it's time to replace it , there's no fixing that part .

 

The stabilizer on my '13 squeaked but never rattled. I just gave it a drop of oil whenever I did an engine service.
