2016 FLTRGU engine getting LOUD when it goes into EITMS mode. I noticed about a month ago that the engine rocks just a bit harder when it transitions to the single jug when hot, but a buddy actually pointed out the noise from the engine. I'm not sure if I have been extra sensitive since then but I noticed it yesterday after a ride but it has a pretty noticeable knocking coming from the jugs. Bike has 58K miles on it and has only had stage 1 upgrades, so no internals touched. I did a search and found a plethora od what if's and could be's. Wondering if anyone else having an issue with the TC 103" after 55K miles?
The noise is new. Never tried it with EITMS disabled. Bike runs and sounds great otherwise. Will disable it today and carry on. Thanks everyone. Bike's almost paid off
It's most likely the compensator banging. Once there's the slighest bit of play it in it'll bang when running on one cylinder. Like most everyone else I have disabled that feature.

That would be my guess also... There is way to measure the spring stack in the compensator and shim it if it's too loose...
I installed a 124" FuelMoto Street Outlaw crate engine in my 2016 Ultra.... the lope of the cams at idle, caused my compensator to rattle vigorously... I measured the spring pack and it was just within the spec, but on the loose side...
Since I had the good bottom end in the crate motor, I switched to a solid engine sprocket.. Rattling noise gone..!

Exactly the same on my 14 Road King. Barely noticeable with eitms disabled, but terrible on the rare occasion when eitms was on.
