For the guys who went with the Softbrake lever, did you replace both or just the clutch side?

I actually started with Softbrake. I replaced both clutch lever and brake lever with softbrake. I still wasn't super happy with clutch lever but brake lever was good. I replaced clutch lever with hogleverage and was very pleased. Just so i matched i then ordered their brake lever too.

I got the Obrien levers for my bike, while yes they did make the pull more liner, I was pissed that I had to grind a $150 clutch lever to fit, and I am not the only one

Softbrake made the friction zone much easier on my Limited. Better clutch control without the worn out hand.

For me, both.

I also did the EZ Pull on the clutch.

I just knew I couldn’t deal with the stiff OEM levers.

My bike is older, came with a cable clutch which I converted to hydraulic with a kit.

You guys are seeming to indicate that the clutch lever effort is high on the harley hydraulic clutches. I dont understand this. My clutch barely takes any effort. The whole idea behind hydraulic clutches is that the fluid does the work. Am I missing something?

Not sure what all the hullabaloo is. Looking to cut clutch lever down so I only need two fingers like my Wr450.

Yes. The OEM hydraulic clutch on my ‘16 FLHTK WAS BRUTAL!!!!

When I flew down to get it and ride it back, I got stuck in bumper to bumper traffic for an hour thru NYC. My carpal tunnel was on fire with no place to pull over to rest it.

In traffic I was definitely having buyers remorse!

Now it’s like butter.

If you like what a new lever did for you, you’d love what an aftermarket clutch slave would do!
