I've been eyeing the Oberon levers for a while, but I just don't know what color combo to go for.
My RKS has some orange highlights (clutch pressure plate, lower rocker box covers, tank badges, horn trim), so I'm thinking having either orange switches, or maybe even orange blades, but then that might be too gaudy.
I had a bunch of engine parts blacked out (tappet and pushrod covers, bolts, stabilizer link, shifter rod), so probably all black is more logical and better looking.
But then I also have left a lot of the chrome accents that were on the bike (gas cap & fuel gauge, saddlebag latches, seat quick release). So maybe the steel switches might look better.
Or titanium, to match my paint (river rock gray denim). So many choices...
if you don't have to have chrome, i recommend going straight to oberon in the uk. i bought my first lever from hogleverage because they offered free shipping. when i went to get my second lever (have 2 bikes, wife rides her own), they were no longer offering free shipping so with shipping included the cost for just the clutch lever would be almost $150. ordering straight from oberon, even with international shipping, and factoring in the exchange rate, it came to less than $105. and i had it in 3 days.
