Default Sreaming Eagle Pipes

Ihave a chance to get a great deal on a used set of screaming eagle touring pipes to put on my 06 Street Glide. Any opinons about them good or bad. Do I need to remap? Looking for a little loader sound.
What do you think?

Thanks...

I have had them since the bike was new, I really like them. Nice sound around town, not annoying when riding through small towns. They also mellow out on the highway and can hear the stereo fine. You will need to remap to the stage 1.
My understanding if you go true duals with v&h header pipes it will be considerably louder. I am still debating that route.

I really like mine. Nice sound. Not to loud in the neighborhood. They get loud when you really get on the throttle. You can hear your stereo at 70. They do not deafen you on a long trip. You never have to remap unless you change your stock Air Cleaner to a free flow type. I also went with the SE Air Cleaner. This is a free flow filter. When you increase the air flow you have to get a Stage I download ,a PCIII or SERT or one of the other on the market. I have the PCIII and really like it. I have 3 maps that I change to suit the occasion. I have one that is great for racing around town - bad on gas milage. One that is great on gas but runs hot - I use this one in the winter. One that is in the middle for long trips.

I just installed new SE slipons. Since I didn't change the air cleaner there was no need to remap. Bike runs fine and sounds great, not loud, just deeper rumble and gives a hair more power and torque.

I agree, I really like mine. I got a great deal on a hardly used set with the end caps and it was money well spent.. Slightly louder than stock and no remap needed.
