I need couple bolts replaced since I lost them. The ones I am talking about are holding on to the "amp" mounting plate inside the batwing fairing on 19 SGS. There are 4 of them, that screw into the speaker pods, 2 on each side.
Do you guy know the equivalent size from Home Depot for these? My local HD said they don't have them and could order them for me...yeah, I can order them too.
I guess I'm fortunate that we have a couple of industrial fastener stores in our area. I always try to buy a bag or box of the nuts, bolts, or screws I'm working with in stainless steel. I have a nice collection of fasteners that are on my bench when needed. I would suggest you consider buying at least a few extra, stainless steel won't rust, and make sure you get a grade 5 or grade 8 when working with components that require strength.... like suspension and frame parts.
A small collection of nuts and bolts are handy!!
