Default Electrical help

Guys I went on a weekend trip three weeks ago. Rode in two days of rain. I noticed my gear indicator is now gone from my gage and the cruise won’t work. Any help would be greatly appreciated. It did flicker a couple times during the trip then went out. This is on a 2014 Street Glide Special.

There's another thread about this very thing, I just posted to it a couple days ago... you may want to search for it.. you are NOT alone in this..

My incident happened on a 2012 Limited, that I drove through a very heavy rain storm for about two hours. My cruise control quit working for the rest of the day. It then started working again, on its own...

I brought it up during my initial service about a week later (it was a new bike), and the tech claimed he had never heard of that happening before. Since it was now working, there was nothing for him to really check for..

It never happened again, even though I got caught in several other rain storms during my ownership of that bike... I just chalked it up to something got wet, then dried out...

Since it has been awhile since you were in the rain, it's possible in your case, something got wet and shorted out a switch.... Pull codes, it should give you a place to start...

if the gear indicator is gone, I would guess your issue is related to the clutch lever switch.
