Default Narrow street glide apes

Just got my street glide and the bars have to go. I want a set of 12 or 14 in apes, but the catch is I need them narrower than wider. I had a set of kst bars in my road king and would get a pinch in my shoulders and become really sore. The other issue I am concerned about is wrist angle. Some bars turn your wrists out, which I can’t stand. What are your thoughts? Anything hung specific I should look at?

Khromewerks makes quite a few bars. If you find bars that are too wide, cut them. Just takes a little more time to cut slots for tbw.

You can't always cut them. The grips and switch housings take up a lot of real estate on the bars, so there is only so much you could take off before you run out of room. Also, there may be cutouts for the switch wiring, so you'd have to modify those as well (not an issue on OEM Street Glide and Road King bars, although there is a "dimple" that needs to be in the right place so you don't crush the wiring when installying the switch housings).
And, you can't do any of this on bars larger than 1" diameter.

I put on a set of the Klockwerks Kliphangers this year and have been really happy with them. I replaced a set of 12" H-D mini apes that were uncomfortable to me. I put on the 10" height but they also have a 14" available. They are 35 inches tip to tip with heated grips. The wrist angle is adjustable which is really why I needed them. You can pivot the ends maybe 20 degrees to dial it in how you like it. They were easy to pull the wires through on install. My hands sit just below the top of the fairing.

I really like them alot. I do get a bunch of questions about them when we stop.

Default 12” Krome Werks

The descriptions of the bars had width I think these were some of the more narrow. Bit of an inward angle on the grips FWIW
