I got this so I knew the fairing vent would still function properly and I’d be able to open/close it if needed. that being said, the only time I close it is riding in the rain, which…thankfully, hasn’t been too many trips

Not saying the Amazon one won’t do that…but I didn’t want to fit check and send back if it didn’t. The HD one uses magnets as well, mine is over two years old and zero issues.
