I have a 2000 Road King Classic that i recently bought and was going to install a drivers backrest. when i removed the seat, the 2 bolts that normally sit on top of the rear fender are missing.
My questions is, what purpose do these bolts normally serve? and where can i buy more? Im not seeing them online anywhere and the nearest Harley dealership is 100 miles away. Just curious.

I assume you are actually in search of the special flanged NUTS, not the bolt that`s welded to inside of fender ?
They are used to secure the TWO piece seat used on some models
Google found them in a nano second
Available J&P Cycle / Dennis Kirk and of course AMAZON
