george is a great guy to deal with...which is hard to find anymore. i just installed it yesterday on a quick detach rack but havent installed iton the bike yet.
After the instalation of a rider backrest, we need to move the tour pak back just a bit.

I'm going to give George a call on Monday. After what I've heard about him on this forum, I'm looking forward to talking to him.

Anyone heard if he'll ship to Canada?
after all the information here about georges kit, i bought one. thank you! i mimc all the positive things people have said about george, the product and the experience. 2 questions:
1. i have the detach kit and when i mounted georges bracket i did not put it between the existing chrome U-tube, i replaced it thus mounting georges adaptor directly on the detach bracket. instead of raising the tour pac 5/8" - this lowered it only about 1/8" and it looks much better - did anyone else do it this way???
2. i have both the bracket and the pack on the most rear position. is good for my wife, but almost feels like i have shifted the weight, albeit very little, too far to the rear of the bike. anyone else feel this and should i worry or just move on.
can the tour pack on the 09 ultra move back?? if so how
thanks
From the factory they ship in the rear most position, If you want to move it further back you will need to buy and after market kit. I have Georges and like it very much.
Not sure why MoCo even advertises that tour pak as being adjustable, I can't imagine why anyone would move it forward.
Just called George and ordered mine. Been thinking about it since the wife and I got back from a 4200 miler out west. Was a little crowded. George said I should try the 1.25 move first. On its way tomorrow(Fri).
