Doing about 85 mph on the super slab, my speedometer and tach went crazy. and my gear indicator said The bike was in first gear but it was actually in 6th. It appeared that the tach and speedometer were reacting to what the gear indicator was showing. Then the check engine light came on. I pulled over turned the bike off and on and took off, no further issues. The bike ran fine, the speedometer worked fine, the gear indicator worked fine and the check engine light went off. Any ideas????

With a CEL showing you should have thrown a code. Check codes...could be a dirty VSS (vehicle speed sensor).
