Default fuel management system

I have a 2007 Ultra Classic. I have read alot about the heat issues. I do not want to put new pipes on I like the low noise of the stock pipes, all of my other bikes had straights, I have got a lot older and enjoy the quiet sounds they have. However the heat problem is an other thing. My local dealer recommends a Dobeck system if I am not going to change pipes and other things that add up to a lot of money. (property taxes are due this month!) The price is $250.00. This is a lot cheaper than a SERT or other products. Anybody use a Dobeck system?

for about the same price (maybe just a tad more) you can get a pciii from www.fuelmotousa.com preloaded with a 'stock' map. you dont have to do the stage1, pipes, ac etc. this will just richen up the fuel mixture a little and help cool it down.

Had Kuryakn Wild Thing Fuel Injection controller(made by Dobeck)on my 06 and it cured farting in the throttle body, popping in exhaust and cooled down engine some. Also had K&n 3909 air filter, Fullsac headpipe, Rinehart slipon mufflers on it. No problems with the TFI did what it was suppose to do. Son put Dobeck TFI Gen III on his 07 when Dobeck first come out with the Gen III TFI along with Rinehart TD and K&N 3909 air filter on his. Has a few thousand miles on it and no problems. I just ordered the Arlen Ness Big Shot controller for my 07 should get it today. It is made by Dobeck they just put they label on it. The Gen III has buttons you push to set it up they seem easier to do than turning the pots on the Gen II controllers to me. If your just changing exhaust and air filter they work great. They say they work also with a cam change.
