How about taking that top screw out and install a black plastic plug. Home, Depot, Lowes, Tractor Supply have nice assortments so you should be able to find a good fit.

I removed mine this weekend. Didn’t replace the bolts. I’m guessing I should now? I rode today and didn’t hear any rattling

Could even have them powder coated black to blend in more.
