Upon accelerating sounds like nuts in hubcap on primary side jerking let clutch in no noise release and little noise give gas lot noise but does smooth out little at Hwy speed took primary case off Comp nut tight clutch looks good nothing seems loose help guys any ideas.? Had gear installed last year to replace cam chain tensioner to gear drive
Noises can be difficult to describe, or at least people describe them differently making it difficult to tell the differences. So if you could post a recording of the noise it may be helpful.
To me, nuts rolling around in a hub cap would sound tinny which would make me thing detonation too. The compensator can be noisy, but the one used in that model was fairly bullet proof. Still worth checking because the spring pack can have problems.
I have see where the rotor for the charging system that fits on the sprocket shaft extension starts slipping and making noise, so the comp nut being tight may not tell you everything you need to know. At some point you will need to disassemble some things to check more thoroughly.

i failed to mention I was having trouble shifting it into neutral at a stop and when slowing down at slow speeds
Based on your comment about "let clutch in no noise" would lead me to think you have an inner primary bearing going bad. But I don't associate "nuts in hubcap" noise with the same. And you said you pulled the primary cover off and "nothing seemed lose", but is the primary chain over tighhened? Which could damage the inner primary and clutch hub bearings and make neutral difficult to find. Although several other things can make neutral difficult to fine too.
You don't mention how many miles on the bike or if any other work has been done in the primary (chain tensioner, compensator, bearings etc), but I'd be tempted pull the compensator and check it for wear, and the inner primary to check the inner primary bearing and clutch hub bearings as well. Any chance you have noticed an oil leak near the back of the primary?
