really? HD wouldn't put shifty cam chain tensioners in a bike if they wouldn't destroy your motor. If HD engineering is your litmus test God help you.
think about it. Air cooled engine, direct Air away from rear cylinder, the hotter cylinder. My junior engineers could solve this without thinking..

For 2 years I've been thinking about putting fangs on my 2019 SGS. The underneath buffeting was driving me crazy. It's not as bad as the buffeting from the useless short windshield but it is bothersome. I have an 8" LRS Recurve which is excellent and helps a lot. So this week I bought the HD Fork-Mount Wind Deflectors, got them powder coated gloss black and installed them yesterday. What a difference! I've read all the positive reviews about them, but I'm still surprised how much better the ride is. Yes, I feel some extra heat on my right leg but the trade off is worth it. I don't mind the look since my bike is blacked out, it blends in real good. I'll be keeping them on.

They definitely work very well. I will put them back on when the weather cools off.

Maybe installing oil cooler fan would make this go full circle.

Interesting. I've fangs but do notice lot of turbulence while passing big trucks. I might try these and see how they perform. Thanks for the link.

I see that you have hard lowers, but it says on their website that it won't fit with hard lowers. I may add hard lowers eventually.

Not that I can tell. The bottom of these are about even with the top of the engine guard. They divert the air between the top of the lowers and bottom of the fairing.

Can you run fangs with a crash bar ? I think not on my 2011 FLHP. Seems too tight with steering limits what they are.

Agree with the chrome setup with fangs not looking so great. Mine are now hanging on the garage wall, and I'm using aftermarket hard lowers. Just for the colder parts of the year. Gets warm again, they're in their bags on the wall, too.

They are adjustable to a degree, but I had mine off last week to take my fairing off my FLHX, and when I put them back on I absent-mindedly gave them no consideration to adjustment. When I realized that I had forgotten that, I went and checked, and they have plenty of clearance from the engine guards when turning from lock to lock.
