More rattles solved
I spent some time last night tightening fasteners and checking for loose fittings. One of the first places I checked was the coolant pump cover. The plastic cover has two tabs on the top ( only one tab on my 2016) that allow the cover to move around. On my last two Road Glides I used o rings over the metal tabs that sit above the pump. Slide the cover back on and it will not rattle anymore. The other areas were the muffler shrouds, floor boards, and the gas cover. The surprise was the license plate was on loose, under the dealer plate cover, and was rattling. Used some rubber washers to close the gap and tightened that up. So now a few less noises during today's ride.
