Getting the SE Torque cam installed next week on my 21 Street Glide standard 107 for $850. Already have the Tab performance 2 into 2 header with the 4.5 bam sticks and zombie baffles installed, Screaming eagle tuner and ventilator intake. Still under warranty for the next 22 months, so I decided why not. I know it's not the best performance cam for the money, but I hear it's definitely an upgrade from the stock cam. Anyone else have this cam, and if so how do you like it?
People like to bash it, but I have had it for about 2 years now, and it's been great. It got even better after a proper dyno tune with the TTS MasterTune. I've had several engine builders tell me how much they like this cam, but also say this is the only cam HD makes that they will use. It's plenty for me.
I've had it 2 years also (on a 2019 FHLX). No complaints. Thought I would go with a aftermarket when my warranty expired but haven't felt the need to (yet).
Definitely a good cam for the warranty sake, hopefully puts a little lope in the sound. After having a twin cam 103 ho, the 107 Milwaukee 8 isn't as aggressive sounding. Power wise the stock 8 definitely walks on the 103.

If performance is what youre after then the mufflers with those baffles are not the recipe, with the cam upgrade it will magnify that.
Got the same cam and see no reason to change it out for aftermarket, it already pulls like a freight train. You might need to re-evaluate your exhaust setup like Quik said though.
You don’t mention how you ride - that’s an important point to factor in to your decision. Is the SE torque cam worth the squeeze? I’m not sure how much of a difference it will make in your riding experience versus the cost… only you can make that cost/benefit analysis. I suspect it might not make a huge difference, but that is just my guess.
For me, I bought my FB new and swapped out the cam after about a year. I didn’t care so much about the warranty as I figured if it hadn’t broken by then it wasn’t likely to in the future - they’re pretty well engineered. But I wanted more performance than the HD products would provide, and wanted to get away from the EPA limitations so I went with the choice I made based on my research and riding goals.
May be just worth keeping it stock until the warranty expires, if that is a primary consideration, and then go with something you’d get more bang out of?
I'm not so concerned about performance as much as the sound of the bike nowadays, I don't spend much time in the upper end of the tach. Was hoping that the lower end grunt might make up for some of the lost torque from my zombie baffles. If not, it's not a big deal to me, it will definitely be loud.
