Enligthen me - are you guys talking about the HD module or another brand? I have been considering the Panacea but the fine print says, "don't use turn signals for extended time". "don't use 4 way flashers"
That doesn't sound like a good design to me! My wife was in a parade with her 4 ways on and aftermarket lights/module a few years ago and it caught fire. A hot ride to be sure, got it out and tossed that set-up
I have the Harley module on mine for 7000 miles and it works fine. No lens melting. Great visibility even with the stock incadescent bulbs. Riders behind me always tell me how bright it is from the rear. I just hope the cagers see it the same way.
Monstermile thats insane! That thing is brighter than anything I have seen. Where did you get them and is the brake bulb led also? Can I just plug them in to my factory SG or do I need an equalizer?
Bought mine used from a member cheap, I thought the running lights were a little bright to, but a buddy riding behind me told me they really grapped your attention and that whatI was after!
no problems with my module either. Only issue I had was that I installed clear lenseswith red bulbs on the rear. Had one of the bulbsburn out within a few weeks. Replaced it and all is good. Damn chinese bulbs!!
I have this same setup (the HD one, that is; installed about 5k miles ago and have had no problems with heat. They really do a good job, and it's about a 10 minute install.
