2017 road glide ultra U0184 code radio communication
2017 road glide ultra U0184 code radio communication
2017 road glide ultra on startup up i turn the switch to on position and let fuel pump cycle, radio boots up but when i actually start the bike the radio shuts down and reboots this causes the bike to keep throwing a U0184 Lost comm w/radio. Anyone else have this issue and if so did you find a cause or a fix?

I'll get that or U0185 (lost comm with amp) or U1401 (lost com with CB) every once in a great while, have never actually heard anything different coming out of the radio, nor have I had any issue using any function with the radio... so I just clear the code, if/when I see it, then check it later and its never came right back. It may be months between it kicking one of those. But I think you may have nailed exactly why it's doing it, and there may be a communication stream thats was temporarily interrupted, so it kicked a code.
If there's no other sign of an issue, I wouldn't worry about it.
