I'm in the market for some custom wheels and was wondering for those of you who have replaced yours and your bike has bags did you replace the rear wheel also or just the front? I can't even see my rear wheel and would hate to waste 1200 smakers on the rear. What you think?
Both for me. If I would have went with anything but spokes, I would have put a solid disc rear wheel and saved some money though. If you are going to stay with a 16" front custom wheel, it may not be so bad to keep the stock rear. If you're going 18" or 21" I would put an 18" solid on the rear.
Even with bags .. others can see the rear wheel going down the road and especially when it's parked and on the jiffy stand. I did both on mine and also did the rotor and drive belt pully to match ( although you can't see them ) but then again .. that's just me.
