I have 4" rinehart slip-on w/o converters, S&S stealth ac and PowerVision tuner. Looking through the Fuel Moto cam shoot out (big shout out to Jamie) I have narrowed it down to the below cams and wanted input from anyone who has used these and what head upgrades you did (and dyno chart if you have it). Again trying to maximize torque from off the line to about 3500-4000 RPM range.
First Tier (Cam and Head Work and maybe .030" head gasket) S&S 583 or 551, Wood TW-222, Andrews 48.
Second Tier (future proof 107" or larger) Wood TW-777, S&S MR103, Cycle Rama 570-2
Thanks
Randy
Have you thought about just playing around with different gearing?

I just finished my bike this spring , used tw222's , let me tell you , the torque and hp are instant , the dyno sheet you see was the first run , took it back for a little tweaking , they told me I gained a little more but lost some fuel mileage , ask me if I care .

Woods triple deuce in my 2011 RKC. I love it, and yes stage 1 was done. Jackpot headers.

Redshift has introduced a new cam design, RS-528, within the last 6 months or so, that is designed to work with the stock heads, The design is based off of the RS-527 but with a slight timing advance for improved torque. Designed in favor of helping a twin cam make lower end torque like an M8, good for mountainous and 2-up riding...been considering this one, myself.

Love those 222’s from Woods. Made a big difference in my last 103.

Lots of good advice here. 4 extra cubic inches, in and of itself, will barely be noticeable. When you're looking for low end "off the line" torque/cams that make torque early, porting heads will gain you little if anything and could even sacrifice some performance at lower RPM. The .030" head gasket would be nice with Andrews 48s, but with S&S 551 cams I'd leave factory head gasket and just do cams and adjustable pushrods (and cam bearings and probably lifters as well), then you don't even have to mess with pulling heads.

I am in the same boat. 2016 FLHTP. I replaced the cams with Fueling 525 cams and it still doesn't feel like enough to me. (Maybe I am sub-consciously wanting to throw myself off the bike?) I read that swapping the stock clutch plates and compensator will give more torque to the rear wheel. That is my upcoming change. I haven't decided which clutch pack or compensator yet but going between Rekluse and Barnet +1 for the clutch and War Horse and Screamin eagle for the compensator.

I don’t think a new compensator or clutch plates will give more seat of the pant. Replacing the the stock 46;tooth clutch basket with an Evo industries 49 tooth will. Just my opinion, but your Feuling cam isn’t much different than the stock cam it replaced. I’d try aN Andrews 48 before any other mods.
